Producer and first-time director Jonathan Baker hosted a special screening to re-launch "Becoming Iconic, Jonathan Baker" at his home Baker Manor in Beverly Hills, last Friday May 21st.Movie poster "Becoming Iconic"

The home was previously owned by Warren Beatty and Annette Bening.
The 85 min. documentary was filmed in New York and Los Angeles 2017-2018, with director Neal Thibedeau and producer Daniel Herther.
It premiered at Whistler Filmfestival, IFS LA Filmfest, Santa Barbara Filmfest and Beverly Hills filmfestival in 2017 and 2018.
"Becoming Iconic” features Jonathan Baker discussing first-time filmmaking and get advice from Jodie Foster, Taylor Hackford, Adrian Lyne, John Badham, Michael Bay, Nicolas Cage, Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty.
They are talking about the battle between the filmmaker, the production company, the studio and the fear of running out of budget.

The second part of the film features Baker in completing and directing, actor Nicolas Cage in "Inconceivable" in 2017, https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MaU2hf4iGew - followed by exclusive interviews with top directors.
"The best tip I have for new filmmakers is to understand your vision, what you’re doing, concluded Jonathan Baker.
"Make sure, by the time you get into the editing room, you’ve collected enough information, that’s in the lens, to be able to tell the same story - that was on the original paper".
"It's important to start with a great script to have a great movie, so make sure that your script is telling a good story".
