art in the West, returned yesterday to
the Los Angeles Convention Center, South Hall J & K, January 15 - 19, 2014.

The Honorable Mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti, art ambassadeur Tim Robbins, and Sister Cities of Los Angeles,
Inc. welcomed guests to the Opening Premiere Party of the 2014 LA Art Show to
celebrate the official launch of Bordeaux-Los Angeles: A 50-year partnership and to honor Councilmember
Tom LaBonge for his commitment to the Sister Cities of Los Angeles and for his
advocacy to arts and culture in the City of LA.

Additional culinary delights were served by Beso, Calavera Tequila, Chivas Regal, Deep Eddy Vodka, Evian, Hama Sushi, John and Pete’s Fine Wine & Spirits, Magnolia Bakery, Maria’s Italian Kitchen, Trattoria Neapolis, Chaucer Freight and James Magni Design.

19th Annual LA Art Show
and art de vivre exemplifying French-American cooperation and the
Bordeaux-Los Angeles relationship.

All Opening Night ticket proceeds went to the Sister Cities of Los Angeles, a
501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to support this year-long cultural exchange. Sister
Cities of Los Angeles, which creates and strengthens relationships between Los
Angeles and her 25 Sister Cities around the world, partnered with the 2014
Opening Night Premiere Party, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Los Angeles'
partnership with sister city, Bordeaux, France.
The 2014 LA Art Show, produced by the Palm Beach Show Group build upon the concept of two distinct shows
under the banner of the LA Art Show.

A complete art experience, the fairs-within-a-fair will
showcase four sections of work: The Modern & Contemporary Section, The
Historic & Traditional Contemporary Section. The Vintage Poster
Section and The IFPDA Los Angeles Print Fair.

The 2014 LA Art Show also features an exclusive and impressive
collection of galleries selected by the LA Art Show's Gallery Selection
Committee, and an exciting roster of programming including an engaging lecture
series, ground-breaking special exhibits by top curators, artist book signings,
guided show tours, mixers, and evening events.
