Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance returns Sunday May 1st in Beverly Hills

ReVamp models in vintage fashion at 2015 Greystone Concours

Now in its 7th year, the City of Beverly Hills and the Friends of Greystone are pleased to announce the annual Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance, to be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Greystone Mansion & Gardens: The Doheny Estate.
Classic Cars will take Center Stage at Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance,
and will showcase vintage motorcycles and over 140 automobiles in eighteen classes, manufactured prior to 1974, including Pre-War US and Pre-War European.

 The day event will include Five-Star Cuisine, Libations, Fine Art, Lectures, Scotch Tasting and more.
 The all-inclusive, private event ticket price includes unlimited gourmet food, beverages and adult libations from Tito’s, Stella Artois and Asombroso Fine Tequila and desserts by Sugarfina.

There will be free offsite parking and shuttle service to Greystone Mansion & Gardens: The Doheny Estate. 

Event highlights include a City National Bank sponsored lecture and scotch tasting in the living room with prominent car collector David Gooding, and an exclusive book lecture and signing presented by British Wheelers Dealers television personalities Mike Brewer and Edd China.

Unique access to the interior of Greystone Mansion will provide guests with a glimpse of rarely-seen rooms, including the speakeasy, billiard and bowling alley where "There Will Be Blood" movie and countless other movies were filmed.
The first floor of the mansion will become a shopper’s delight with high-end vendors selling fine automotive art, vintage posters, automobilia, books, jewelry, vintage fashions and unique gift items. ReVamp models will stroll the concours in vintage fashions.

140 automobiles in eighteen classes, manufactured prior to 1974, including Pre-War US and Pre-War European.

“This event has become a favorite among car enthusiasts who are passionate about their cars, but is also attracts architectural lovers who enjoy the history of Greystone mansion and look to support Friends of Greystone in their preservation and restoration of the 1927 estate,” said Cindy Brynan, Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance Event Director. “The historic Greystone mansion and estate is a nationally registered historic landmark and one of a few located in Southern California. What better way to enjoy a display of over 150 world class automobiles and motorcycles while being in this enchanting setting,” said Brynan.

The Greystone Concours d’Elegance is produced by the City of Beverly Hills, with the support of the Friends of Greystone, whose mission is to raise funds to restore and preserve the Doheny Greystone Estate, a nationally-registered landmark.
