The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) presents Josh Kline: Climate Change from June 23, 2024 through January 5, 2025 at MOCA Grand Avenue. This is the first West Coast museum exhibition for New York-based artist Josh Kline (b. 1979, Philadelphia). The exhibition brings together the major works from Kline’s epic saga about the climate crisis, exploring the close-at-hand ramifications of human inaction on global warming.

Organized by Rebecca Lowery, Associate Curator, with Emilia Nicholson-Fajardo, Curatorial Assistant.

Josh Kline: Climate Change features artworks dating from 2019 to the present and includes the debut of several new sculptures specially commissioned by MOCA. Kline, is known for creating immersive installations using video, sculpture, photography, and architecture. He is distinguished among artists of his generation in his focus on class, labor, and inequity in the contemporary United States.

Climate Change is both an exhibition and a total work of art—an ambitious, immersive suite of sci-fi installations that imagines a future sculpted by ruinous climate crisis and the ordinary people destined to inhabit it. Mobilizing sculpture, moving image, photography, ephemeral materials, and lighting in order to completely transform the galleries of MOCA Grand Avenue, Climate Change is a visceral, charged Gesamtkunstwerk of our contemporary times. In this vision, which could be called dystopian but in truth is terrifyingly near, a catastrophic sea-level rise has inundated the world’s coasts, unleashing a flood of hundreds of millions of traumatized refugees.

“Kline’s work is layered, meticulous, and essential in its clear articulation of the problems of the present day and how they will impact human life in the near future,” said Lowery. “We are honored to have supported the production of several new artworks for this exhibition, and thrilled to share the artist’s project with MOCA’s diverse audiences within and outside of Los Angeles, a city that has played a significant role in the imagination of this saga.”

Josh Kline: Climate Change is accompanied by a fully-illustrated publication featuring original installation photography from this exhibition; an essay by Lowery situating Kline’s work within the nexus of contemporary petro-culture and the towering Hollywood entertainment monolith, itself a direct product of the oil rush of the 1920s; and essays from guest contributors Lauren Cornell and Matilde Guidelli-Guidi. The catalogue is designed by Practise and will be published in Fall 2024.

In conjunction with Josh Kline: Climate Change, and with support from The Manitou Fund, the museum will present public and educational programs exploring climate and environmental justice. The exhibition is also supported by the MOCA Environmental Council, a first-of-its-kind affinity group for a major art museum in the United States, which focuses on climate and environmental justice in alignment with the museum’s mission. As the creative work of artists is pivotal to both awareness and action, the museum’s artist collaborations and exhibitions play an indispensable role in fostering dialogue around pressing environmental issues.

Unresolved Crimes in LA - People talked about for years:

(WestHollywoodToday.blogspot, CA June 15 2024) By Karen Ostlund

Unresolved crimes in Los Angeles, people talked about for years:

Metro.lacounty.gov and Metro.la jumped their regular fare from 50-75-$100/month by switching domain to Metro.net  and buried their profit.
METRO.net writes, one TAP with the TAP card is valid 2 hours, one direction, unlimited transfers - but the customer needs a transfer-receipt for that.
By switching back to Metro.lacounty.gov and Metro.la (inner city) customers can get cash back on their TAP cards and free rides. Metro.Go has also been flipped domain to Go-Metro.com. If Metro LA takes away the option to buy a transfer from vending machines, the TAP card needs to be changed, to multiply taps within 2 hours.

Television Academy has loss of paid membership fees and voting, because payments get collected by one website NATAS.org, which got a new domain theemmys.tv- to login and enter a lottery, in another website emmys.com
Members from theemmys.tv are paying to login, with a separate password, and take over the "Voting Section" and Panels of the accounts of members from emmys.com. The account of emmys.com highlights inside, when another password is logging in the same account.
This can be resolved by knowing an old Swedish internet-server took over the website, to control outgoing emails and moving banners. Sweden was the first country in the world with a free internet server, when the domain, the web-address was only a number. Many websites in LA were switched over to this old Swedish internet-server before Covid-19.
.

The most common reason to lose a business and bury profits, is to change the spelling of a domain.
For example, changing the word Bank to Banks or Banken or Sportclubs to Fitnessclubs or Fitness.
From 2000 to 2007, KellerWilliams was both KellyWilliams and KellerWilliam printed on paper.

All Property Managements in LA get a flat fee of $150 per apartment per month for maintenance and on-site services as repair, trash-deposit, garden, pest-control, water-leak, security-gate included in the rent - but if the owners of the apartments don’t ask for any rent, the Property Managements can’t ask for any more money, just a symbolic fee ($1 - $25) -  because only new invented owners will show up on the internet. Many names of owners of left property can be found at United States post-offices, because they were entitled a life-time mailbox.
US has no law about pet-deposit, because it's included in first month rent deposit.
Many renters pay rent to a "letter symbol” in Persian, Greek or Arabic alphabet, but in English have a different meaning. For example the letter Z in Persian alphabet is translated to kh, h, ch and j in the English alphabet.

Persian-Farsi has 3 letter-symbols translated to, "electricity paid by owner" as a name of the owner in a contract, meaning 2/3 of the rent deposit is to start a live-in renovation (1-2 days/month). Fixing an uneven floor is repair, but replacing the whole floor is renovation.

24 Hour Fitness (6380 W. Sunset blvd) had a Syrian half-black transgender, who also worked as staff for LA Fitness. She blocked repair of the 24HourFitness Spa-Pool in Hollywood since June 2019, because "she" claimed to own the water-pipes since renovation of pool floors, with help of an insurance company. The same person also blocked the washing of the free workout towels, for the same reason.   A blond Syrian man, (based in Stockholm) at the front-desk, explained to members the reason, "my girlfriend wanted to save water".

Lifetime membership-vouchers for one club, "payable with check and money order only" from Bally's Total Fitness, 45 E. 55 street in New York, Manhattan have been sent to LA Fitness, 7021 Hollywood blvd, Hollywood, CA, to put a credit-card on top, by new members, since change of domain from BallysTotalFitness to LAFitness in 2008.The members that paid 10 years of vouchers got photographed by Ballys Total Fitness computer camera in their ID names, located at 45 E.55st, New York, 10022. These members are still waiting to get-into the LA Fitness club, 7021 Hollywood blvd, Hollywood, CA - since 2008 - because their last payment voucher was given away to new members to put a credit card on top - at the opening of the club..

At the same time, non-employed staff from LAFitness entered 24HourFitness to change their domain from “24HourSportclubs" to “24Hourfitness" in 2016 to control their billings, when Bally's Total Fitness in Manhattan closed their clubs, and changed their name to "LA Fitness" in Hollywood, CA.

A Syrian transgender group from Stockholm, also closed down the SAG offices in New York a few years - but kept the SAG awards going,  until AFTRA merged with SAG in March 2012.
The purpose of the closure was to locate SSN numbers and property assets of SAG and AMPAS members, and re-sell their membership cards with film-credits - if SAG Union's initial fee of $3000 was paid.
The SAG award was a YouTube show in their headquarters before 1994.

800 Traction Avenue manager's name "Rollins" was used, as "Rollins & Rollins" for an online auction of commercial buildings and apartment complex, website: Ten-x.com.  The building on 800 Traction, LA was built during the 1600 century, as only a name "Gaslight building", without a number on S. Hewitt St. Los Angeles. The Gaslight building's storage is today the Public Storage, 90013, but some locked storage-units, still belongs to the building.

Tenants were paying rent to garage entrance on Traction Ave, when building was sold.
The commercial buildings on Ten-x.com are named CRE properties.
CBRE.us is a different company, and don’t work with Ten-x.com
Local LA news papers wrote; Two Vice Presidents from CBRE.us John Hillman and Greg Stanton sold 800 Traction Avenue building to DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners (www.dljrecp-parks.com) working at 400 South Hope, 25 floor, Los Angeles, 90071, which office is using the websites: 400SouthHope.com and GLL-Partners.com.
DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners have another company (an equity platform of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Inc) changing their website page to www2.dljrecp.com for US properties only.
DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners (www.dljrecp-parks.com) have no yearly news-statement listed, of their properties since January 2018, and haven't purchased a buildings in Los Angeles and US since 2011.
Tenants evicted from 800 Traction Avenue building, were offered to move into properties listed on www2.dljrecp.com, and pay more. Case still unresolved.

Stephen Paddock - Life before becoming the Mandalay Bay Shooter Oct. 2017.

Stephen Paddock was known as Hans Timan in Stockholm.
Stephen Paddock - Life before becoming the Mandalay Bay Shooter Oct. 2017.

Hans Timan, "Stephen Paddock" also known as transgender Candis Cayne returned to Stockholm during the Trump-divorce in 1990, and started to work with the tabloids as National Enquire in New York.
He was responsible, to re-lable “The Murder Of Amy”, October 1987, to the “Murder Of Jon Benet”, 1996, the night of Dec. 26 - but there was no year printed of the murder, inside the tabloids in Dec. 1996.

In 2000, Hans Timan (Candis Cayne) worked in a transgender office, at the same floor as PMK PR in Pacific Design Center (West Hollywood) and put together photos to the tabloids of two people dating, before they meet.
The same transgender office got problem with a burglar ring (2002-2007) of celebrity homes, using the information from PMK PR.

In 2003 Candis Cayne (Hans Timan) returned to live as a male, with help of bottle-drinking, and he was seen as a homeless, alcoholic, with pants falling below the hip, on Sunset Strip in West Hollywood.
Once sober, he invented a new personality, "Stephen Paddock" for Beverly Hills fire-department and started to work with Jessica in Fingerprint PR office.

Stephen Paddock (Mandaley Bay shooter in Las Vegas Oct.2017) had a different person’s photo in DMV offices.

He was often seen as a controller in Los Angeles DMVs offices, but he never got a US State Drivers License, just renewed his Swedish Drivers License instead.

His head-photo in all news channels as Stephen Paddock was the 2nd face of transgender Candis Cayne, by contracting a large muscle on the side of the face, connected to the back of the brain.
The muscle went over both sides of the face, and gave bulky features to eyelid, nose and chin, plus personality change.
The face, before contracting the muscle, looked like a male Candis Cayne, according to people having a conversation with him, seconds before.

“Stephen Paddock” was often seen by entrance Paramount Studios Main Gate, to start fights during special events before 2017 Mandaley Bay shooting.

Transgender involved in this kind of murder are all born from insemination from the digestive system of ruminant animals, only made in Arab countries (calf, goats, sheep, deer) and the equine digestive system (horse). Calf-semen is an Arab blond semen that is too low to grow a vagina and ovaries in a human body. It gives symptoms of down-syndrom, in form of holding on to someone's ID, barricade properties and provocate to get killed - to take over a new identity. They keep their penis in a skin-pocket, in the inner-thigh, without puberty - but can grow both female and male faces.
