The Hollywood Museum’s ICONIC RIDES Exhibit
                             “A DRIVE THROUGH TIME”
           Featuring The Dukes Of Hazzard “GENERAL LEE”
                     Scooby Doo’s “MYSTERY MACHINE” and
  “HERBIE THE LOVE BUG” from Herbie Fully loaded.

                                                                           

Donelle Dadigan (Founder of The Hollywood Museum) together with many celebrity-friends, took a ride though time with the Hollywood Museum’s exhibit ICONIC RIDES. A Drive Through Time is featuring The Dukes of Hazzard "General Lee”, Scooby Doo’s “Mystery Machine” and “Herbie The Love Bug” from Herbie Fully loaded. Exhibit opened to the public, March 28 2025.

                                                                      


                                                                                 
This unique exhibit features original screen used props, costumes, memorabilia  from Dukes of Hazzard, Scooby Doo, and Herbie: Fully Loaded including the 1969 Dodge Charger from “The General Lee” and the Dukes of Hazzard Reunion movies from 1997 and 2000 - based on the hit CBS television series from 1979 thru 1985, starring John Schneider, Catherine Bach and Tom Wopat.
Donelle Dadigan said “ We are thrilled to share our newest exhibit  “ICONIC RIDES: A Drive Through Time” celebrating some of our favorite TV shows and films from “once upon a time”…showcasing, props, costumes, and their famous cars seen in these nostalgic and ever-popular TV series and films with- fans from all around the world who visit The Hollywood Museum.”
                                                                          


Speakers included John Schneider, Catherine Bach, Tom Wopat from Dukes of Hazzard, Jean Kasem, wife of Casey Kasem the legendary voice of Shaggy from Scooby Doo and a special video message from Scott Innes the voice of Scooby Doo, and Scrappy Doo, Michelle Lee from Herbie The Love Bug, Joaquin Garay lll from Herbie Goes Bananas, and Claudia Wells from Herbie The Love Bug TV Series.

Also part of this fun exhibit is “Herbie The Love Bug” from the 2005 Disney Film “Herbie Fully Loaded” starring Lyndsay Lohan and 1963 Volkswagen Beetle.
The official Love Bug  in this exhibit was used by Disney to promote the film and is now on display with Herbie, TV Film and Broadway star Michelle Lee from The first Herbie The Love Bug, along with Joaquin Garay lll from Herbie Goes Banana’s, and Claudia Wells who starred in Herbie The Love Bug TV Series.

                                                                                  
“The Mystery Machine” with 1960s-70s Chevrolet G-Series Van from the fan- favorite animated series Scooby Doo, which aired on TV from 1969 to 1976 starring the voice of Casey Kasem as Shaggy with the live action films from 2002 and 2004. (Photo of Director Bong Joon Ho) South Korean film Parasite won the Academy Award for Best Picture at the 92nd Academy Awards, and became the first non-English-language film to win the Academy Award for Best Picture. It also won three Oscars, for Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best International Feature Film.

Since Bong Joon Ho made Oscar history with “Parasite”s best picture victory in 2020, the Korean director’s fan-base continued to grow and evolve around the world with his recent release of his capitalistic satire “Mickey 17” starring Robert Pattinson.

The exhibit opened Sunday March 23rd and will run through June 10 2027 as the Academy Museum‘s “Director’s Inspiration: Bong Joon Ho Exhibit” which marks the first exhibit dedicated to the beloved director’s filmography over the years.

The collection features over 100 original objects from Bong, including the suseok rock from “Parasite,” the original slate used during filming “The Host” and an advertisement for the film club Bong formed while enrolled at Yonsei University. Bong is primarily known for his work in film, comic books which were his first passion, because to the books he found as a kid in his father’s library. When Bong was enrolled at Yonsei University, he published comics in the school newspaper.
                                                                              
The Park family picture featured in “Parasite” is recreated, with the portrait mirroring a typical middle-class family in Korea. Bong worked with artist Zibezi to create all the artwork that Park Da-song draws in the film.

Highlights from LA Artshow 2025.

The LA Art Show 2025, the city's largest and longest-running art fair, marked its historic 30th anniversary with an exceptional showcase at the Los Angeles Convention Center from February 19-23, 2025. Under the leadership of Producer and Director Kassandra Voyagis, the show presented over 90 international galleries from countries including Europe, Ukraine, South Korea, Turkey, and Canada.

"Los Angeles is home to our show, it has always been. Our city has suffered and endured so much, and I just want to say that we stand with all Angelenos as we continue to recover and rebuild. We are deeply grateful this show could go on, with the city's support," said Voyagis during the opening celebrations. "I want to thank all the galleries, artists, and visitors who joined us for this milestone anniversary. Your participation made this celebration truly special, and we're already looking forward to welcoming everyone back in January 2026."

 Opening Night Premiere was hosted by actress and producer Jenna Dewan. The evening benefited two important initiatives - the American Heart Association's Life is Why™ Campaign, which received 15% of ticket proceeds, and the California Community Foundation's Wildfire Recovery Fund.

Visitors to the art-show were greeted in the lobby by Viktor Freso's impressive 30-foot "Bear Sculpture,” and inside the fair by his  "The Birth of the Niemand” sculpture. Fredy Hadorn of Licht Feld Gallery (Switzerland), which specializes in paintings and video sculptures, stated: "It was a great show for us, garnering strong interest and sales." Bernard Markowicz of Markowicz Fine Art also saw positive results: "I was genuinely impressed to witness individuals who had lost their homes coming forward to share their experiences and purchase new artwork, embodying a spirit of hope and new beginnings."
                                                                                
Artist Antuan Rodriguez's interactive installation "Left" or "Right" showcased punching bags portraying world leaders and tyrants, allowing attendees to channel their frustrations.
                                                                            
GALLERY DANA BAY (DANA POINT, CALIFORNIA): Bernie Taupin CBE, songwriter and longtime collaborator of Elton John, unveiled a mixed media mural titled "The Wall," showcasing the American flag as a symbol of perseverance.

                                                                                   
DAPHNE ALAZRAKI FINE ART (NEW YORK): Artist Elizabeth Healey's remarkable life-sized dog sculpture "Bowie" crafted from quartz, stone, crystal, glass, ceramic and precious gems drew significant attention.
                                                                         
US HYBRID presented Colombian artist Julian Toro Duque's debut exhibit with "Dark Side of the Sea" (acrylic on fiberglass), demonstrating their commitment to combining technological innovation with artistic advancement.

The LA Art Show (www.laartshow.com), LA’s longest-running art fair, wrapped up a triumphant 30th anniversary edition, showcasing 90+ global galleries from countries including Ukraine, South Korea, Turkey and Canada. Donelle Dadigan, President of The Hollywood Museum and an elite group of personalities, honored Black History Month February 20th, with a new exhibit, “This Joint is Jumpin 2025: It’s a A Celebration of Black Entertainers from Film, TV, and Song.” More than 30 black entertainers are represented in this year’s exhibition with their iconic TV, film and concert costumes, props, as well as personal items and wardrobe worn during public appearances.

 As LA’s largest and longest-running art-fair with over 100 global exhibitors, the 30th anniversary edition of LA Art Show promises a wide collection of international art from young American artist Daniel Yocum - to famed British poet and artist Arch Hades, as well as powerful and war-inspired works by female Ukrainian artists.

The 2025 edition will also welcome new local and international galleries including LICHT FELD Gallery (Switzerland); Gama Gallery (Turkey), Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery (UK), L.E.Gallery (Belgium), K+Y Contemporary Art (Paris), Casterline|Goodman Gallery (Aspen), Arcadia Contemporary (New York) and Fabrik Projects (Los Angeles).

“Art is most impactful when it transcends borders and diversity is our strength,” said LA Art Show’s director & producer, Kassandra Voyagis.                   • The fair’s popular non-commercial platform “DIVERSEartLA,” will be returning with a compelling retrospective and highlighting diversity. Three of the featured installations include: "Celebrating Diversity" by Chiachio & Giannone presented by MOLAA, "Dactiloscopia Rosa: Video Art and QUEER Constructions" curated by Nestor Prieto and presented by Museo La Neomudejar (Madrid, Spain) and Carlos Martiel | Cauce/Riverbed curated by Marisa Caichiolo.
                                                                             
‘Isle,’ a tribute to the island of San Michele in Veneto by Arch Hades.


                  • LICHT FELD GALLERY (SWITZERLAND): Multidisciplinary artist & bestselling poet, Arch Hades – named the highest paid living poet in the world in 2021 – presents her sculpture the ‘Isle,’ a tribute to the island of San Michele in Veneto. Situated between the main islands of Venice and Murano, the entire island is a cemetery known as the ‘island of the dead’. This sculpture began from the line of poetry ‘poems, like gravestones, marking where love lies’, etched in Arch Hades’ handwriting on the black, polished ‘lagoon’ plane. The ‘graves’ of the island themselves are represented by many books forming the sculptures’ distinctive shape.

                  • SNISARENKO GALLERY (UKRAINE): “She, Unbroken” brings together Ukrainian-born female artists who have lived through the horrifying experience of war. Through each piece, the artists share their resilience and strength, navigating the challenge of staying connected to who they were while adapting to who they are becoming.

                  • CORAL GALLERY (MIAMI) Roberto Vivo's sculptural works will be showcased, including his highlight piece "The Human Tribe Totem," a large-scale bronze sculpture, which debuted at the 2024 Venice Biennale, standing 77 x 95 inches tall. The work embodies the artist's vision of human diversity and inviting viewers to understand the relationship between form and space.

                  •  CASTERLINE|GOODMAN GALLERY (ASPEN): Young American artist, Daniel Yocum has gained recognition for his unique approach to figurative abstract expressionism infused with hip-hop aesthetics. His distinctive style is characterized by vivid colors and lurking marks of black, often incorporating imagery of cars and flowers.

                  •  ART IN DONGSAN (SOUTH KOREA):  Sculptural works from Steel Che (Youngkwan Choi) re-purpose industrial materials into artistic forms with the exhibition's centerpiece, "Steam Robot," demonstrating his mastery of traditional craftsmanship along with his ability to transform industrial materials into large-scale and provoking art.

                  • COLUMBIA ROAD GALLERY (LONDON, UK): The gallery brings the pulse of East London's vibrant art scene to LA Art Show. Primarily focused on up-and-coming UK-based artists.The gallery will present works by four notable artists: Kate Boxer, Thomas Gosebruch, Hannah Ludnow, and Jonathan Schofield.
                                                                            
•  DANUBIANA MUSESUM (SLOVAKIA): Viktor Freso’s breathtaking 30-foot Bear Sculpture will be located in the lobby as a symbol of power and resilience, setting the tone for the event as bigger, braver and more ambitious than ever before.
