THE HOLLYOOD MUSEUM’S ICONIC RIDES EXHIBIT OPENING

The Hollywood Museum’s ICONIC RIDES Exhibit
                             “A DRIVE THROUGH TIME”
           Featuring The Dukes Of Hazzard “GENERAL LEE”
                     Scooby Doo’s “MYSTERY MACHINE” and
  “HERBIE THE LOVE BUG” from Herbie Fully loaded.

                                                                           

Donelle Dadigan (Founder of The Hollywood Museum) together with many celebrity-friends, took a ride though time with the Hollywood Museum’s exhibit ICONIC RIDES. A Drive Through Time is featuring The Dukes of Hazzard "General Lee”, Scooby Doo’s “Mystery Machine” and “Herbie The Love Bug” from Herbie Fully loaded. Exhibit opened to the public, March 28 2025.

                                                                      


                                                                                 
This unique exhibit features original screen used props, costumes, memorabilia  from Dukes of Hazzard, Scooby Doo, and Herbie: Fully Loaded including the 1969 Dodge Charger from “The General Lee” and the Dukes of Hazzard Reunion movies from 1997 and 2000 - based on the hit CBS television series from 1979 thru 1985, starring John Schneider, Catherine Bach and Tom Wopat.
Donelle Dadigan said “ We are thrilled to share our newest exhibit  “ICONIC RIDES: A Drive Through Time” celebrating some of our favorite TV shows and films from “once upon a time”…showcasing, props, costumes, and their famous cars seen in these nostalgic and ever-popular TV series and films with- fans from all around the world who visit The Hollywood Museum.”
                                                                          


Speakers included John Schneider, Catherine Bach, Tom Wopat from Dukes of Hazzard, Jean Kasem, wife of Casey Kasem the legendary voice of Shaggy from Scooby Doo and a special video message from Scott Innes the voice of Scooby Doo, and Scrappy Doo, Michelle Lee from Herbie The Love Bug, Joaquin Garay lll from Herbie Goes Bananas, and Claudia Wells from Herbie The Love Bug TV Series.

Also part of this fun exhibit is “Herbie The Love Bug” from the 2005 Disney Film “Herbie Fully Loaded” starring Lyndsay Lohan and 1963 Volkswagen Beetle.
The official Love Bug  in this exhibit was used by Disney to promote the film and is now on display with Herbie, TV Film and Broadway star Michelle Lee from The first Herbie The Love Bug, along with Joaquin Garay lll from Herbie Goes Banana’s, and Claudia Wells who starred in Herbie The Love Bug TV Series.

                                                                                  
“The Mystery Machine” with 1960s-70s Chevrolet G-Series Van from the fan- favorite animated series Scooby Doo, which aired on TV from 1969 to 1976 starring the voice of Casey Kasem as Shaggy with the live action films from 2002 and 2004. The voice of Scott Innes was Scooby Doo & Scrappy Doo.
