"This Joint is Jumpin 2026'" at The Hollywood Museum showcases iconic costumes from Black music and TV history, including Whitney Houston's World Tour outfit, Eartha Kitt and Natalie Cole's gowns, and Pointer Sisters' jumpsuits.
                                                          

The exhibit features attire from "The Jeffersons" a RuPaul outfit from "Zombie Prom" and pieces from artists like Diana Ross and Ella Fitzgerald. 

Costumes from music icons: Whitney Houston (World Tour), Natalie Cole, Eartha Kitt, The Pointer Sisters (flowered jumpsuits), Diana Ross, Pearl Bailey, Lena Horne, and Ella Fitzgerald.
TV & Film, costumes from The Jeffersons (designed by Betsey Potter), a bubblegum pink RuPaul outfit from Zombie Prom (designed by Sean LeBlanc).
2026 exhibit also features memorabilia associated with Billy Porter, Viola Davis and Denzel Washington.

 Donelle Dadigan (Founder/President of The Hollywood Museum)  and an elite group of personalities, came to honor Black History Month with its new exhibit, “This Joint is Jumpin: A Celebration of Black Entertainers from Film, TV, and Song.” which features concert costumes, props, as well as personal items and wardrobe worn during public appearances.
Hollywood Museum Founder & President, Donelle Dadigan, said “We are thrilled to once again showcase the contributions of Black Entertainers and Sports Legends, with some of the most iconic stars from tv, film, music and sports.  We are honored to have two pieces of Michael Jacksons memorabilia, The “Bad” World Tour costume and his hair piece from the music video “They Don’t Care About Us” shot in Brazil, on display at The Hollywood Museum. We are looking  forward to fans, of all ages, coming to see great memorabilia and artifacts including gowns, costumes, worn by some of the biggest stars in Hollywood.”
 
                                                                   

 50 black entertainers costumes, and memorabilia are represented in this exhibit: MICHAEL JACKSON, WHOOPI GOLDBERG, QUEEN LATIFAH, OCTAVIA SPENCER, CARRIE WASHINGTON, LAWRENCE FISHBURN,DENZEL WASHINGTON, WHITNEY HOUSTON, DIANA ROSS, SAMMY DAVIS JR. , ELLA FITZGERALD, FREDA PAYNE, ROBERT GUILLOME, TED LANGE,  LOLA FALANA, ISABEL SANFORD, SHERMAN HEMSLEY, MARLA GIBBS,NELL CARTER,WESLEY SNIPES, DON CHEADLE, VIOLA DAVIS, IDRIS ELBA, WILL SMITH, PHIL MORRIS, GREG MORRIS, LAVERNE COX,  DIANA ROSS, LENA HORNE, SUGAR RAY LEONARD, MUHAMMAD ALI and THE POINTER SISTERS.
