Oscar Nominated Costume Design on Display thru April 26th 2014



Oscars 2014: Nominated Costume Designs are now on display thru April 26, 2014.
FIDM Museum & Galleries is located at 919 S. Grand Avenue downtown LA, and is open Tuesday thru Saturday,
10am until 5pm, with free admission.

22nd Annual Art of Motion Picture Costume Design exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to experience the work of talented costume designers, which features over 100 costumes, including all five 2014 Academy Award nominees for Best Costume:
American Hustle (Annapurna Pictures)
The Grandmaster (Weinstein Company)
The Great Gatsby (Warner Bros. Pictures)
The Invisible Woman (Sony Pictures Classics)
12 Years a Slave (Summit Entertainment)
Previous year’s  Academy Award® winner for Best Costume Design, Anna Karenina, designed by Jacqueline Durran
 All three costumes were worn by Keira Knightley as Anna Karenina.

Costumes from selected films of 2013 are on display in this annual Oscar exhibition of film costume design. Highlighted in the exhibition is previous year’s  Academy Award® winner for Best Costume Design, Anna Karenina, designed by Jacqueline Durran.

Also featured are costumes from other amazing films of 2013, including 42, 47 Ronin, After Earth, The Butler, Ender's Game, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Man of Steel, Oblivion, Oz the Great and Powerful, Pacific Rim, Romeo and Juliet, Saving Mr. Banks, Star Trek Into Darkness and Thor: The Dark World.
