The Feast will also be the last stop on the 2014 Uncle Frank’s Youth Spirit Baseball Tour, which takes families of children fighting cancer to Major League Baseball games throughout the month of September. “My father always lent a helping hand to people in need. For these families to be able to have a day of fun together, letting the kids be kids again, means the world to them,” said Ann Potenza, Festival Director. “We really appreciate the support of everyone who helps make this happen!”
Uncle Frank’s Helping Hand Foundation, established in honor of Jimmy Kimmel’s real uncle and regular on Jimmy Kimmel Live! began hosting the baseball tour in 2011. The tour concludes with a pizza party at the Feast, a tour of the JKL Studio and a meet and greet with Jimmy before the families go to the Dodgers game.

In 2009, Ozzy Osbourne received the “Elmer Valentine Award,” which was named after the passing of original honoree Valentine.
The 2010, the award went to Slash, and in 2011 Mötley Crüe was recognized, and in 2012 The Doors were celebrated.Rocker Joan Jett was the first woman to get the award in 2013.

The West Hollywood City of Council also proclaimed September 19th 2014 as Jane’s Addiction Day in the City of West Hollywood.

Frontman Perry Farrell
Jane's Addiction is the young rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1985, which consists of Perry Farrell (vocals), Dave Navarro (guitar), Stephen Perkins (drums) and Chris Chaney (bass).
Jane's Addiction was formed out of the remains of front man Perry Farrell’s previous band, Psi Com.
1985, Farrell searched for a new bass player for the faltering Psi-com when he was introduced to Eric Avery, who became the new member. Eric Avery, left the band in early 2010 as the group began work on new material.
Jane's Addiction was one of the first bands from the early 1990s alternative rock movement to gain both mainstream media attention and commercial success in the United States.
The band's first two studio albums, Nothing's Shocking(1988) and Ritual de lo Habitual (1990), were released to widespread critical acclaim, and an increasing cult fan-base. As a result, Jane's Addiction became icons of what Farrell dubbed the "Alternative Nation.
The band's initial farewell tour, in 1991, launched the first Lollapalooza, which has since become a perennial alternative rock festival.

Guitarist Dave Navarro at House of Blues
The band briefly reunited in 1997, with Flea, of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, replacing Avery on bass guitar.        In 2001, a second reunion took place, with Martyn LeNoble - and later Chris Chaney - occupying the role of bass guitarist.
In 2003, the band released its third studio album, Strays, before dissolving again the following year. In 2008, the band's original line-up reunited and embarked on a world tour. The band released its fourth studio album, The Great Escape Artist, in 2011, with Chaney returning to the band for its recording and subsequent tour.
Jane’s Addiction will perform as headliner at The West Stage at 9.30pm today, Saturday 20th.
