"So You Think You Can Dance" judge, dancer and singer Jason Derulo met his wax double May 19th 2016 at Madame Tussaud’s Hollywood, and struck a pose side-by-side with the figure. Following the dramatic unveiling, Derulo gave a special performance for his fans on the rooftop of the attraction.
“This place is a staple in Hollywood. When you’re walking or driving down Hollywood Boulevard, this is one of the places you have to come. It’s literally a legendary place, so to be a part of that family is such a blessing,” said Derulo.

Derulo personally selected the unique pose for his wax figure capturing one of his signature dance moves, unlike any Madame Tusssauds has created in its 200+ year history.
Derulo’s wax figure, which is styled with black Golden Denim jeans that he personally donated and red Nike Air Force One sneakers, is valued at more than $350,000.
Prior to the unveiling, Madame Tussaud's Hollywood released the first look of its expert team of sculptors and artists capturing Derulo’s measurements and likeness, as well as selecting the perfect matching hair and eye color for his figure. The session lasted more than two hours and over 250 measurements were taken.

“Jason’s figure is our most dynamic yet! It made for a very interesting sitting, which took almost three hours. We had to ask Jason to recreate one of his signature dance moves numerous times to ensure a perfect recreation,” said Colin Thomas, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Hollywood. “It’s a great addition to our A-List party room – and a fun selfie opportunity!”
In the last six years since ascending to stardom, Derulo has sold over 55 million singles worldwide, all of which have been co-written by the artist himself. Jason Derulo, who got his start writing hits for other a-list artists such as Lil Wayne, Pitbull, Diddy and more, has seen his eye-grabbing music videos amass over 3 billion views on YouTube.
His music has been streamed over six billion times on Spotify, and his singles have aired on radio to an audience of over 17 billion since his debut single "Whatcha Say."
His four acclaimed studio albums have accumulated eleven Top 10 singles (including four #1 singles on the Hot 100): "Whatcha Say," "In My Head," "Ridin' Solo," "Don't Wanna Go Home," "It Girl," "The Other Side," "Marry Me," "Talk Dirty," "Wiggle," "Trumpets," and "Want To Want Me."
